THE CONSULTATIONS
Release tension
The aim of Body Stress Release is to stimulate the body to heal itself, by unlocking built up tension in the body. The process is started with three releases: on day 1, day 4 and day 11. After these three sessions, I will give you recommendations on follow ups. The amount of follow ups needed, will depend on how long stress has been present in your body; how the stress developed and evolved; your current living conditions; and the speed on which your body lets go of tension. Maintenance sessions are also strongly recommended, so we can keep your body stress under control.
For the first release, at least an hour should be calculated. This because during the first release, I will provide more information about the technique; and from your side I would like to get more information regarding your health history and your living conditions. For the following releases, a maximum of 30 minutes will be sufficient.
Why do I have to start with three releases? Can’t I just do one and see how I go?
The reason why you’ll start with three releases has all to do with the following: BSR is a process – and a process needs more than just one chance. After your first release, you most likely start to notice changes in your body. These changes want to be followed up by more love and care of a stress release session in order to keep improving. Only after three sessions, we know the effects of the technique on your body: is it enough stimulation for your body to regenerate itself?
Do I have to undress for a release?
One of the benefits of BSR is that we can work through your clothing and will still be able to have an impact on your body. With other words: you do not have to undress for receiving a release. I recommend you wear relaxed and nicely fitted clothing during the session (f.i. jeans and a t-shirt or sweater).
Also, there is no need to bring a towel or that sort of thing. You only need to bring yourself!
NOTE: Body Stress Release is not a diagnosis or treatment of any condition or disease. It is concerned only with locating and releasing stored tension, so that the body is assisted in its in-built ability to maintain and heal itself.
